According to the Globes Online, Muslim hackers are suspected of shutting down the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange "Corporate Action Site."

The Maya site went down yesterday for a couple of hours after apparently malicious attacks that were traced to Arab countries.

I would like to point out that tracking anything over the Internet can be a tricky thing.

What looks like it is coming from one place, can easily be masked & hidden through a Botnet

According to the Globes Online...

"Users attempting to access the site received an error notice.

The "Maya" site is not connected to the TASE's trading activity and platforms, and aside from jamming the "Maya", the hackers did not manage to tamper with the information on it, or cause any other damage."

Muslim cyber terrorists have been repeatedly attacking Israeli websites as reported here.

The Palestinian Islamist movement, Islamic Jihad, seems to want the world to know it's going high tech like everybody else.

It seems terrorists are continuing to wake up to the fact they can cause trouble in cyber space.
